Best timeLate February to April — all three regions are dry. Avoid Tet week (Feb 17, 2026).
North vs SouthNorth (Hanoi): cool dry Oct–Dec. South (Saigon): dry Dec–Apr. Central (Hoi An): dry Feb–Apr.
Visae-Visa $25, 90-day validity, online (3 working days). Multiple entry available.
CostBackpacker: $30–$50/day. Mid-range: $60–$100. Comfort: $120–$200.
